The city of New York has honored the native New Yorker Mariah Carey this week (April 25th - 28th) by lighting up the Empire State building with her favorite colors and the building is now displayed in lavender, pink and white.
Mariah's latest album "E=MC2" is topping the billboard charts and has reportedly sold 463,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week in the stores making it the singer's biggest sales week ever. As a way of saying thank you, Mariah treated New Yorkers to a free live concert on 'Good Morning America'. |
